1. I LOVE Diet Cherry Coke even though I should really try to give up soda.

2. I am still in awe that God blessed me with such an awesome little girl.

3. I am a converted frugal spender.  I am obsessed with coupons (even ones I find on the ground)I used to just spend money and not think about it. Now I won't even buy cough medicine if I don't have a coupon or its on sale. (cough drops either) Can you tell I'm sick?

4. I never dreamed of my dream wedding(until I was engaged) I always dreamed if having a little girl.

5. I am incredibly lucky. And not just in the general sense.

6. I hate guilt trips and the words "I told you so"

New Playhut and update

     I got Bella this Hello Kitty playhut at Target on clearance and was waiting to find somewhere to put it up. For now, we decided on the spare room. Anyway, she just loves it and quite frankly so do I . It has a refrigerator inside and also an "oven" but you can actually put things in the fridge. I would have adored this at her age and at more than 50% off it was a steal! She seems to enjoy it and her smile shows it.

    Here she is eating a whole container of yogurt with a big spoon. She got it out of the fridge herself and I didn't think she would eat it all because she never has but she proved me wrong this time. You can also see how big Juno is getting. For his last weigh in he was around 67 lbs. That's right, he's a beast.
     I realized I had never braided Bella's hair the other day(mostly because I didn't think it was long enough) but I thought I'd try and here is the result (with Daddy kissing her). I know french braiding isn't exactly in vogue right now but it looks so cute on her.

   This is a total Mike face and yes she didn't have a shirt on but she just got food all over it.

    This is a project that I have bugging Mike to finish for a year. It is a toybox thing that matched Bella's toddler bed but I thought it would help organize all the Christmas little pieces she got in the playroom. It works well and the playroom stays somewhat neat and she knows where to put everything when she cleans up. Thanks Mike! Oh and Bella helped!

     Last thing, Mike and I are doing Weight Watchers with everyone next door and we are weighing in over there on Sunday nights. This really helps us to be accountable over the weekends. Mike went into this kicking and screaming but once he realized he lost more than me this week ( even though I lost more total) he has been teasing me relentlessly. Wish us luck and prayers through this journey.

Surprise visit

     Today I was in a motivated, cleaning mood and it turns out that was a good thing. I got a call from my dad this afternoon and he was doing an interview in Gainesville and was stopping by for a visit.  We got to spend some time and then went to dinner. Bella was literally all over him... whew boy she loves her Papaw Bert! She has been very moody today and I thought she might be getting sick but it may also be some unknown allergy-GREAT!  Also for some reason he was very effective in getting Juno to calm down ( who by the way has been a full blown P.I.T.A lately) so I was relieved. Anyway, didn't get any pictures but we had a good time. Thanks Dad for coming!

      Oh! Also Bella really loves her Puggles church group and she even started singing their blessing in bed tonight. I don't even have it memorized yet! She also makes up stories about God and Jesus and she says "and God say it was good"

We have been dethroned

     Bella lives in a fantasy world as most toddlers do and in her fantasy she is the most beautiful princess ever. We happen to agree. She refers to herself as princess, me as queen, and Mike as king. We were dutifully informed this evening that we are no longer king and queen.

     The princess has spoken.

I am awesome!

     Like I have stated in previous posts I am on a mission to save money. Well I think I am doing quite well if I do say so myself. I have been using the following websites to aid in my search for the "best" deal.

     As you can see I am saving more than I am spending which allows me to stock up of stuff like toothpaste, diapers, deodorant, shampoo etc. so that I don't have to pay full price at the last minute. I got a minimum of 15-20 items for free or under $1.00. This is awesome and I wanted to share! The savings I got were coupons and competitor coupons matched up with store sales.

New Years Weekend

                                             Silvermist, Bella, and Mike

        Another weekend another Disney trip. Well not completely, but we did spend the weekend in Daytona. We stayed with my mom and got a lot of visiting in. We went to see Bedtime Stories on Saturday and Bella fell asleep. It wasn't a cartoon so I think she got bored but it really was a great movie and I think it might have been Adam Sandler's first Disney movie. Adam Sandler with no bad language or innuendo, oh my. But he pulled it off quite well I think. Bella loves to go to the movies now. She just cannot seem to make it through without popcorn and drink now even if we just ate lunch. We were down at the Ocean Walk movies which is on the beach so we ate at Johnny Rockets for lunch and walked around and checked out the beach. It was amazing how many people were in their skivvies in early January. But that's Florida for you. We didn't have our suits or we would have been there too. On Sunday we went to Magic Kingdom and made the whole day about Bella and she had no problem obliging us here. We rode lots of rides saw some shows and had a grand ole time. Bella even saw Snow White and Tinkerbell and friends for the first time. Now I know you are thinking its not possible she hasn't seen them yet but its true and she didn't really want much to do with any of them until we walked away.

                                            The country Bear jamboree- Mike and I haven't seen this ssince we were kids and it was hilarious. Obviously they have not updated it since then and they were singing songs like "there's blood on my saddle" and "jimbob got a whoopin" etc. It was very amusing and I am glad Bella was more interested in watching than listening to the words.


                                             Oh and almost all the bears looked like they were high.

                                             On Pirates, mike told her the Pirates were gonna bite her. She was terrified. Bad daddy!
We never allow this kind of lollipop but I was feeling generous and we very quickly regretted it. SHe had it in her hair, on Fred's arm hair, on the ground etc. But the pictures were cute anyway.
